Mini Buzzers - FAQ
The answers to all the questions we've been asked!
Are the children split into age groups?
Our Mini Buzzers Multi-Sports classes are set up in a carousel format, meaning children try each activity at their own pace and in whichever group they'd like.

How long are the classes?
The sessions for both age groups are 45 minutes long, but there is no commitment to stay for the full duration.

Do I have to stay with my child during the classes?
You will need to stay onsite throughout the session. With younger children (2 to 3 year olds) we actively encourage parents help their children during the session, whilst with the 4 to 5 year olds we encourage the children to build their independence and hence parents take on more of a supportive role from the side-lines.
Are the classes indoors or outdoors?
All classes will be held in the main halls of the churches.

Can I try the classes out before committing to a full term?
We offer a free trial session option so that you can try a class before committing to the term. You are under no obligation to sign up for the full term after this trial. After your trial you will be able to discuss the trial with the Head Coach. We hope your child will really enjoy their first session and will be very excited to come back the following week. If however, they didn't settle well, the Head Coach may recommend they have another trial in the older or younger class or if you feel that your child is not yet ready to join the classes, you are welcome to come back when they are ready and book another trial session.

Does my child automatically move to the next class by age?
Age groupings are a guideline. Please discuss your child's progress with the Head Coach who will advise if they are ready to move to the next class.

Can siblings and other family members watch the classes?
We welcome spectators at classes; however we would ask parents to ensure that siblings remain on the sidelines and do not participate in the activities or play with the equipment. We ask that if you are photographing your child during the class, that you ensure no other children are present in the photos.

Do your classes run during the school holidays?
Classes run term time only and will not operate during the school holidays and half-terms.
Can I book an ad hoc class?
Yes, you can book an ad hoc class via our website. You will need to select 'single session' on the booking form.

What happens if I cannot make a class?
If you are unable to make a class, please notify our Head Office who will report your absence to the Head Coach. Regretfully we cannot offer refunds, credits, or catchup classes for non-attendance.

How do I know which age group is best for my child?
Age groupings are a guideline. We recommend that you initially book a trial in your child's appropriate age and then have a discussion with the Head Coach at the end of the session. If your child has additional needs (SEN) or if you feel like they may struggle in their age group, please contact our Head Office ahead of booking.

Can we join halfway through a term?
Subject to availability, you can join a class part way through a term. Term fees will be prorated for block bookings.

What is the cancellation policy?
We don't offer refunds for our Mini Buzzers sessions, however if you are wishing to cancel a booking within 48-hours notice, we will happily offer you a credit on account for a future Mini Buzzers booking.

Will my child be automatically enrolled into the following term?
At the end of each term, we will automatically reserve your child a space in the next term. Please ensure that you follow the link in your re-enrolment email to make payment to secure your place. We do not hold any payment details on file. If you do not wish to continue your classes, please contact our Head Office who will remove your booking.
